1...2..HOO...HOO!!!

Here it is in 128kb! I think this might be the radio edit.

Aoki and the "Roots" have done sooooo well with hyping this track.

Buy the record too... we owe it to them both!

Here It Is

And Here It Is...

Sounds like a really.... really....... really good polyphonic ringtone.

Tiga - Mind Dimension (Bloody Beetroots Remix)

Runark EP

Having best friends like the Bloody Beetroots and Crookers would be enough to make any decent producer want to change proffessions.

Exception: Congorock has been slowly but surely making his mark on the dance music scene for a while now, and with his debut EP just released on Fool's Gold, it looks like his big name mates need to watch their back.

Get the "Runark" EP.

01. Congorock - Runark
02. Congorock - Runark (Jokers Of The Scene Remix)
03. Congorock - Exodus
04. Congorock - Hybro
05. Congorock - Runark (His Majesty Andre Growl Remix) [Digital Only]

Congorock - Runark (Jokers Of the Scene Remix) highly recomended

Housi Housi Lick My Pussy

Whiteballin' Lesson of the Day: Les Petits Pilous is from this moment on, a constant word to be used in your vocabulary. You should mention them at least 10 times per day to insure that others learn about them. You will have learned your lesson when ALL of your friends/family/colleagues/douches/enemies and the general populous of your city play their music.. loud.. constantly..

A good mate of mine said he had been checking out this blog.. and he thought that we post "Some Chunky Tunes".... I took this as a compliment and believe I have to live up to this proclamation.

Les Petits Pilous has just released a new EP titled 'Wake Up'. If you don't know of them already... you'll recognise their tunes.. played frequently in sets by 'The Bloody Beetroots' and 'Mr. Oizo' to name a few. And to the people playing along at home.. you can see why Whiteballin loves these guys so much..

Les Petits Pilous - Wake Up

Les Petits Pilous - Housi

Les Petits Pilous - Going Techno

"Fucking Insane.." I seem to like saying that while listening...

All this Les Petits Pilous has invigorated me.. I think this post needs MORE banging tracks... yes... more...

Destroy Disco - Fly Or Bounce (Bart B More Rerub)

The fresh kids over at buzzendirekt reminded me of how generally kick ass Switch is... shame on me for forgetting...

Radioclit - Divine Gosa (Switch Remix)

Brick N Lace - Never Never (Switch Remix)

Fatboy Slim - Champion Sound (Switch Remix)

And last but not least.. the boys at Noisia have a new little monster on their hands..

The Prodigy - Omen (Noisia Remix)

Enjoy these banging tunes.. and for the guys and gurls in Melbourne.. get tickets for Boys Noize/D.I.M/Fred Falke down at Prince this Friday (23rd). Should be a kick ass night.. the Whiteballin crew will be down so come share the love!!

P.S. The track in the video below this post is called 'Warp' and you can expect it released in March! =D

Residual Wood

To quote the infamous 'Dr Thomas Anthony Wells-Quinn' ....

"Residual Wood Is Ongoing"

I believe I speak for many people when I say the end of 2008 was crap simply because none of us were attending the event in the video above...

This was at the Amore 2009 New Years Eve event in Rome... I think Happy New Year was an understatement..

From what I've worked out it's a new single that The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki and releasing.

Anyone else experiencing residual wood?

Co.... Co.... Co.... CORNELIUS!!

IT'S HERE!! IT'S HERE!!!

Cornelius has finally arrived. 'Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo' has created what some might say.. a master piece.

I'll be leaving this song on repeat for some time. And i suggest you do as well.

Now if you'll excuse me.. I need to introduce my CDJ's to Sir Cornelius and Mr. Paranoid.

Unfair!

How come there aren't any clubs like this in Melbourne? How hard can it be to have a club night that plays good music??? God this pisses me off! Every time i go out i tell myself that "tonight will be different... it'll be good". But my wish is never fulfilled.

DJ's are always scared about upsetting the crowd or pissing off management if they play music that's any thing close to hard. The sad thing is that this is usually true.

The problem is that shit music attracts people who do not appreciate good music. So dropping a Proxy or Bloody Beetroots track is literally like teaching chemistry to an infant. It doesn't even have to be really hard. Some decent fidget or some "real" minimal tech shit is equally as good.

Things needs to change!

(ps. That first track that Huoratron is playing gives me an eargasm)

He's coming to Aus next month! Check it!

K.G.Boner.

He is the king of dark-tech. Heavily influenced by the savage sawtooth sounds of Drum & Bass, the Proxy is literally destroying (pun intended) dance floors literally all over the world. Tracks such as "Dance in Dark" and "Raven" are a dropped by the biggest names in the biz, while his older stuff still has a freshness and is often heard in the sets of Mr Oizo, Tiga and the Bloody Beetroots.

I adore watching novice teenie-boppers who on their first encounter with "Dance in Dark", achieve an expression on their face that sits somewhere between euphoria and fear....

The Proxy - In New DJs We Trust (19-09-2008) Thanks to DataSapiens

Chemical Brothers – ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ [Soulwax Remix]
Laven & MSO ft. Malte – ‘Reach’ [Alte Schule Acid Instrumental]
Polymorphic – ‘Rock To Play’
Autodidakt – ‘Shit Your Rack’ [Proxy Remix]
Volatile – ‘Faces Of War’
Proxy – ‘Who Are You?’
Math Head – ‘Get Hype’
Aleem –‘Felix Yo!’[Chef Remix]
Shadow Dancer – ‘Cowbois’
Math Head – ‘Turn The Music Up’ [AC Slater Remix]
Digitalism – ‘Home Zone’ [Proxy Remix]
Proxy – ‘Raven’ [Live Edit]
Medicine – ‘I'm Sick’

This remix is nothing amazing... but how can you remix perfection?

The Proxy - Raven (Le Petit Pilous Remix) Preview

This song kills people. Hence, it's inclusion in the BBC1 mix.

Another Root?

Yes... another post on the Bloody Beetroots.

Though i feel it's necessary as I'll be seeing them for the first time this weekend when they play at the Prince in Melbourne.

I ignore all the rhetoric regarding the repetitiveness of their signature sound and simply take it for what it is.... Music to get loose to!

So readers....If by any chance you're there... I'll be there moshing behind the decks with my crew. So come say hi!

The Bloody Beetroots - oh gosh they've taken panoramix!!

The Bloody Beetroots - T*A*P*E*

Wu-Tang Clan - Stomp! (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)

Audioporno - Choo Choo (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)

I hate Sarah Palin

Gustav Klimpt Was A Dark!!!!!!

What a song!

Don't really understand the story behind the title though... Other than Gustav Klimt being an Austrian Symbolist painter during the late 19th and 20th century, and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. His works include various paintings, murals and sketches with their primary subject being the female body...

Beetroots will be touring Oz in September!!!!

Bonus: Proxy - Raven 196kb
